Wu wei is traditional Chinese idea of inaction or inexertion. Like laissez-faire. Allow the world to work itself out. Allow people to work things out. Do not force others. Do not restrict others. Do not let outside individuals influence you. Find purpose, seek it out. Succeed with your own merit. Reality is a meritocracy. Equality of opportunity is the solution, not equality of outcome.
